If you’re looking to sit in a car and have the best ride of your entire life, get on a plane, get on a bus, get in your car and head to Chapman’s Peak Drive in Hout Bay, Cape Town where the mountain has a sharp fall of hundreds of metres into the Atlantic Ocean and a magnificent road has been carved out of the mountain. It is truly spectacular, one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. I had to take this picture off the internet because it’s really not so easy to get a perfect shot of the drive without hopping on a helicopter or using a drone. Disclaimer: These first set of pictures are not mine, I got them off the internet.
I promise you, the pictures don’t do it any justice. You have different junctions where you can make a stop and have a picnic or just enjoy the view. It is absolutely stunning, I promise you! Here are some of MY pictures I took while I was there. This was my second visit and I think I even loved it more than the first time. This has to be one of those spots you put on your bucket list, yes, it is that amazing.
